1/9/2019 Scars, Can They Cause Pain??Scars can cause adhesions under the skin and cause pain when mountain biking and kayaking. It is important when looking at scars that you understand that they are not superficial. The wound goes under the skin and can cause tissues in the body to adhere together. This can cause decreased movement and pain with movement. It is more important in shoulders and knees. Make sure to look at the next video in the series to see how to manage scars.
