These are the first 2 exercises in the series. If you want more kayaking exercises be sure to check out my YouTube Channel. Kayak Full Body Exercise 1!! This exercise incorporates your core and rotational support with shoulder movement The ability to resist rotation helps you to control for Boof strokes and for strong paddle strokes. Lets get the core trunk rotation in! Resistance can help you modify and load your body. Keys... don't lift your legs with this one... if you know how to segment movements out to strengthen then they can work stronger together. Otherwise you will continue to use hips when you should use your trunk Hips are one of the typical areas that people complain about. I have posted below a video on some hip stretches. My buddy Dymire another PT who owns High Impact PT shows us another hip stretch as well. He focuses on cross fitters and keeping them crushing it in the BOX! Love it! Check him out |
