We have now used our shoulder blades with rotation, but it is important to have trunk stability and core control! 🙌This exercise is more complicated than you expect. We all know how important our shoulders are for kayaking. 🙋♀️ Kayaking shoulders are important to keep healthy! They Propel us forward and help us roll up. WHY is it important? 😳 🥇If you rotate your trunk for the stroke then you don’t have to reach out as far with your arm...which means there will be less stress on your shoulders...AND a more powerful stroke because you are using your core.🥇 👉Yes! Let’s add some rotation to our lives! Scars can cause many problems with movement and adhesions under the skin. This is esp the case for knees and for shoulders. As active mountain bikers and athletes we have a tendency to crash and to get cuts. As cuts and impacts heal, they form scars. this is important to adhere the skin together and keep our body safe. This can also cause layers of tissue to stick together. These layers need to slide side by side each other, if they don't then you will get pulling on the inside of your body. Ding scar massage, can eliminate these adhesions and help you move more freely. It is important when looking at scars that you understand that they are not superficial. The wound goes under the skin and can cause tissues in the body to adhere together.
